Fight or flight
When your chest feels tight
And the light in your eyes feels like it's-
Dimming and the world you don’t love is winning,
And you feel that your skin is thinning and the effect that it has is hazardous to your being.
And after all this you feel numb and you are constantly told that the world you hate has won but you need to keep going.
Because inequality is something that we have been made to feel is inevitable.
Something that is there from before we are born and will be there long after.
Because with this mentality being injected into us we believe that the only time and place we will have is now and that being selfish with our little time on earth is the key.
So we fight
We work hard and for what? More money in the bank that is useless when we are dead. Land that we will be buried in. Houses that will be sold on to become someone else’s tomb.
Inequality is an inevitability because never has there been a time like now where people are forcing others to open their eyes and see the light at the end of this long dark tunnel. People saying enough is enough ISNT enough.
In order to break the consistency of marginalisation, we have to be as consistent with our fight against it. It's about getting in a room with people and realising that the world we live in can be reset. That world domination is a thing to be left in the middle ages and that we are all made up of the same stardust. That none of us have the answers. And that hate is always a spur of the moment feeling but love, tolerance, forgiveness and hope are emotions that are universal.
A universal language we all speak and therefore should all abide by.
One law under which we all should live. And by doing that we can make the world turn the way we want it to.
